No cost to attend the dig day. All après proceeds will be donated to Squamish Search and Rescue. Après $10 per person (Spruce Registrations will cover the payment processing fees so all your $ can go to SSAR).
A trail maintenance day to celebrate the late Dave Reid (2024 recipient of BC’s Medal of Good Citizenship) and the incredible impact he had on this community and trail network. The event is supported by Fergie’s Cafe, Sunwolf Riverside Resort, and SRAM. We will be working on one or more of Dave's trails in the Garibaldi Highlands area. Please sign up for the dig day here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScO_ViX-uGPHlnu3101lxMkvOIw2ZqPJk4Z8EifEWc1B75qEA/viewform
After the digging is done, there will be an après hosted at the Sunwolf wedding tent. We encourage folks who can't make the dig part of the day to come join us for a meal and raise a glass to Dave at the après (100-person attendee cap). Après event starts at the Sunwolf wedding tent at 2:00 pm and is $10 per entrant with 100% proceeds going to Squamish SAR.
There will be a few raffle prizes with all proceeds going to Squamish SAR including a two-night stay at the Cheekeye Lodge (valued at $3000; https://sunwolf.net/cheekye-lodge/), Fergie’s gift cards, and SRAM items.
Please dress appropriately as it’s an outdoor event. Ride your bike or carpool to the après. If driving, please park on the road (not Fergie’s/Sunwolf’s parking lot).
Dave's family and SORCA thank you for your interest in attending this event.
