The SORCA XC series is a collection of five XC events between April and September aimed at those who enjoy pushing their limits up the climbs as much as you do, testing their limits down world-class Squamish descents. The series supports a broad spectrum of riders, from those wanting a Saturday morning workout to experienced XC racers training for a more significant race. Each route will be roughly 15km long and utilize some of Squamish’s most popular blue and light black XC trails.
Instead of a traditional mass start format, our neutral rollout start allows riders to decide whether to start alone or alongside a group of friends/competitors. You will be given a window of time to start the loop. The first four in the series will not have any apres race component, yet the final will include a post-series wrap-up party and awards.
Everyone will meet (and park) at a designated staging area, collect their timing equipment, and then, at their own pace, make their way to the start of the course.
XC series details can be found here.

Join us on September 13th for the LAST SORCA XC/Enduro Race of the season, proudly sponsored by long-standing supporters Tantalus Bike Shop, as well as Belinda Grant Realty and Free Bird Squamish.
These two events offer racers the opportunity to compete in one or both disciplines in one day. As an added bonus, the rider with the fastest combined XC and Enduro time will be etched onto the SORCA QOM/KOM Trophy for 2025. Participants must register for each event individually. XC registration is here and the Enduro registration is here.
After the two races, all racers and volunteers are invited to join us for an après, awards ceremony and toast to Tantalus Bike Shops' 30th Birthday at Free Bird Squamish.
It promises to be a great day of racing and community. We look forward to seeing you there!

33 Trails
September 20th & 21st, 2025
Celebrating SORCA’s 33rd anniversary, the Annual Scavenger Hunt Ride and Trail Run is back! This year, trail running is included to help participants use hints to find all 33 trails around Squamish. Whether you prefer to ride, run, or E-bike, your goal is to find as many of the selected trails as possible over the weekend of September 20th.
This year, we've chosen 6 riding and running areas around Squamish. Use the posters to figure out the trail and take a selfie with as many signs as you have time (and energy) to find, and you'll be entered into our prize draw! Complete riding or running zones to earn additional entries, each zone you finish gives you a chance to win fantastic prizes donated by local brands and businesses. And, for those up for a challenge, a very special prize entry awaits anyone who completes all 33 Trails!
Participants must register (free) to be eligible for prizes. Please note, a valid Sorca membership is required to participate. There will be no official after-party and winners will be drawn at the end of the event and notified directly.
Volunteer Poster Painting Party
Join us on Wednesday, September 17th, from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm at GEO Cider for a fun, creative poster painting event! Kids are more than welcome to get involved. This collaborative effort is essential for creating the clues used during the ride and run. To attend, please email dani@sorca.ca.
Trail Posters & Clues
On September 19th at 7:00 am, we will release images of all the posters to the public via newsletter and social media. These posters contain the hints needed to decipher trail names and plan your routes. Large, colorful trail posters will also be posted somewhere along each trail early Saturday morning before sunrise, giving participants a chance to strategize their routes for the weekend.
You’ll have two full days to explore as many trails as you can! Be sure to snap selfies at each trail you complete, the more you explore, the greater your chances of winning!
Awesome Prizes!
We have many fantastic prizes to be won across different categories, generously donated by local sponsors. With lots of opportunities to win, get ready for an exciting weekend of adventure!
We hope you’ve signed up for this exciting event! Registration and full event details are linked below. Whether you’re a seasoned rider, trail runner, or newcomer, we look forward to seeing you out there!
Feel free to email Dani Enskaitis to confirm attendance for the poster painting party or if you have any questions.
Let’s make this year’s 33 Trails adventure unforgettable!
