Trail runners and mountain bikers have at least one thing in common - they both rely on and love our community’s trails. For runners looking to give back, join us and support the Squamish trails.

 

The Trail Runner membership has all the same perks as a regular adult membership, but this way we can keep track of runner members and start looking into how we might be able to expand our perks!

Being a Local Legend isn't about being the best, most extreme rider on the trails. To us, it is about getting out on our trails, enjoying the network, building community and helping ensure that the trails are taken care of and maintained for years to come.

 

The Local Legend membership has all the perks of regular membership with the additional funds going the extra mile, giving directly back to the trails through trail maintenance, new trail builds, facilities development and trail-related advocacy efforts.

Join us for our first 3 Stage Enduro of the season, hosted by Squamish Bike Shop, 7mesh, Flipside Burgers, and A-Frame Brewing! Expect an exciting day filled with racing and fun. Delicious burgers will be served up from Flipside Burgers to keep everyone fueled! A-Frame Brewing has generously offered two free beers (or non-alcoholic drinks) per person, with any additional beverages available by donation.

***Note that for the 2025 Race season, SORCA will be issuing timing chips (Zone4) for each race, so you MUST collect your chip at the registration/chip pickup location and we will have volunteers removing them from you at the end of each event.***

The Loam Hustler is a female enduro mountain bike race hosted in Squamish presented by Corsa Cycles. It aims to empower women through the thrill of racing and camaraderie developed on the trails.

This race will feature a 3-stage Blue Course (aMTB friendly), and a 5-stage Black Course to allow a variety of riders to compete in what will surely be an event to remember. E-bikes will be permitted for adaptive riders only. Racing will be followed by an apres hosted by Free Bird Table & Oyster Bar - includes a hearty dinner, a welcome drink, games, prizes, and a podium! All event proceeds go back to the trails!

Focusing on fun and community, our mission extends beyond the race itself. We are dedicated to fostering inclusivity, specifically supporting junior girls and female adaptive riders and providing an environment that propels the next generation of female riders.

Ride with us, break boundaries, and experience the empowerment that comes from pushing your limits in an inclusive space. 100% of race proceeds will be invested into the trail network in and around Squamish. A 2025 SORCA membership is required for all participants.

The SORCA XC series is a collection of five XC events between April and September aimed at those who enjoy pushing their limits up the climbs as much as you do, testing their limits down world-class Squamish descents.  The series supports a broad spectrum of riders, from those wanting a Saturday morning workout to experienced XC racers training for a more significant race.  Each route will be roughly 15km long and utilize some of Squamish’s most popular blue and light black XC trails.    

Instead of a traditional mass start format, our neutral rollout start allows riders to decide whether to start alone or alongside a group of friends/competitors.  You will be given a window of time to start the loop. The first four in the series will not have any apres race component, yet the final will include a post-series wrap-up party and awards. 

Everyone will meet (and park) at a designated staging area, collect their timing equipment, and then, at their own pace, make their way to the start of the course.
